Wyvern Warriors
Stylized mid-poly flying simulator where the player rides on a dragon. Three levels—island, desert, and sky island—each with the same objective but different environmental obstacles. Player rescues villages that then help damage the boss; when the boss reaches a certain health threshold, the player goes in for the execution.

Overview
Wyvern Warriors is a stylized mid-poly flying simulator where the player rides on a dragon. I contribute as Environmental Artist and Lighting Artist. The game has three levels—island, desert, and sky island—each with the same core objective but different environmental obstacles that make each run distinct. The player helps villages across the map; once villages are rescued, they fire cannons at the boss to reduce its health. When the boss reaches a certain health threshold, the player goes in for the execution.
Responsibilities
I am responsible for creating prop art (I do not texture the props—the art lead handles texturing). I also create foliage, author materials in Substance Designer, and handle lighting for the game as Lighting Artist.
Process
I work with the creative director and art lead. The art lead takes direction from the creative director and relays it to me, and I write it down. The creative director then draws reference images for me, and I aim to match those references as closely as possible when building props. I send my props to the art lead, and she textures them.
